Computer Repair from liquid spilled in tower
Customer mentioned that their computer would no longer display anything after spilling liquid (can of pop) off their desk and into the top of their computer.
Problem: The computer would no longer display a picture, needed to diagnose if there were any major issues requiring replacement parts, or if everything could be fixed.
Solution: Took apart the system piece by piece and checked for any sign of liquid/sugar etc left behind on any items.
Result: After thoroughly cleaning the motherboard and GPU, the system display worked without issue and remained running with no crashes. No sign of any damage and still working fine a year later.
Always be careful with liquids around electronics!
