After recovery

Once your files are safe, I set up a simple automatic backup so this is the last time you worry about it.

What should I do first if I lose files?

Stop using the device, don't install recovery software on the same drive and don't keep saving new files. Call me before trying anything else.

How long does data recovery take?

Simple cases can be done in a day. A failing drive that needs a careful clone can take longer, and I will give you an estimate first.

Do I pay if you can't get anything back?

I will agree the terms with you before I begin, so there are no surprises.
