- 2Plan a route
Add houses to your route and the map puts them in a walking order that starts from your door.
- 3Go!
On Halloween night, tap Start and your phone guides you from house to house. Tick each house off as you go, or tap ๐ฏ Next house on the map. You can share your walk with a parent at home from the Route tab.

Safety tips
- Walk in groups, and have an adult with younger kids
- Carry a flashlight or glow sticks, and add reflective tape to costumes
- Only visit houses with the porch light on
- Stay on sidewalks and cross at corners, never between parked cars
- Check treats at home before eating, especially with allergies
- Face paint beats masks: kids can see better
- Dress for the weather: layers fit under most costumes
Handing out treats?
- Turn your porch light on when you're handing out treats, and off when you're done
- Clear the walkway of cords, pumpkins and anything little feet could trip on
- Use battery candles in pumpkins, not real flames near costumes
- Keep pets inside: doorbells and costumes can scare them
- A bowl of non-food treats (a teal pumpkin) helps kids with allergies
- Tap "Running low" or "Out of treats" on your private link so families know

Share a photo of your little monsters (or your whole crew) and cheer on the neighbourhood's best costumes. Every photo is checked by Brad before it appears.

- Chat uses a fun Halloween name, or your own first name if you'd like. No links, phone numbers or addresses, please.
- Spots are places worth a look (a wild haunted house, a photo spot). Neighbours vote, and the best stay on the map.
- Keep it family friendly. An auto-mod blocks swearing, and mods can remove anything. Repeat offenders are paused from chat.
- Tap Report on anything that doesn't belong.

Take the map with you
Download every house for another map app. Houses hiding their address are left out until they're revealed.
Spread the word
The more houses on the map, the better the night. Share it in your neighbourhood groups.
Privacy
No accounts, ads or tracking cookies. Hosts choose to list their house and can remove it any time. Your location and route are saved only on your phone and never sent to us; to draw walking paths, your stops and starting point go to OpenStreetMap's free routing service. Candy Alert sign-ups (email, text or phone notifications) are only used for Candy Alerts, and every message lets you stop them. "Share our walk" is opt-in: only your latest spot is kept, and it's deleted when you stop or after 5 hours. Costume photos and new spots are checked before they appear. Chat messages and chat names are kept for a few days, then deleted; mods can see them to keep things friendly, and the app notes anonymous device codes (not names or locations) to spot abuse.
