Computer Repair & IT Help in Cochrane, AB

Cochrane, west of Calgary at the edge of the foothills, mixes new neighbourhoods with acreages and ranches in the surrounding area. I help people in Heartland, Fireside, Sunset Ridge, Riversong, downtown Cochrane and the rural properties nearby.

How I help in Cochrane

On-site visits: Wi-Fi coverage, networks, printers, computer set-up and small-business support.
Acreage and outbuilding Wi-Fi: getting a reliable connection to the shop, barn or guest suite, or making the most of a rural internet service.
Remote help: many software and email problems can be fixed without a visit.
Websites and hosting for Cochrane businesses on BDT Hosting.

Typical Cochrane jobs

Wi-Fi that stops at the edge of a large house, or never reaches the garage or workshop
Rural internet set-ups where speed and reliability need careful setup
Home-based and farm-based businesses that need email, a website and good backups
Retirees who want patient help with phones, tablets and staying safe online

Common questions

Do you come out to acreages around Cochrane?

Yes. I take on-site jobs in Cochrane and the nearby rural area.

Can you improve my rural internet?

I cannot change your provider's service, but I can make sure your equipment and Wi-Fi are set up to get the most out of it, and advise on options.

Can you help remotely if I would rather not wait?

Often, yes. Software, email and virus problems can usually be fixed over a secure remote session.
